I made a film with Benoît Michelet called Pool (that you can watch here: vimeo.com/356392265 ). In our animatic, Benoît put a song from “A scene at the sea ” from Kitano as a reference of what we wanted at the end of the film. Later, when we had the final sound I tried to make a song. I made some test and this one almost was in the final version. Benoît and I were not sure that this was giving the tone that we were looking for, so at the end we put no music. Now you can only hear the very nice sound of the swimming pool that Renaud Denis made.
I still like this tiny music I made, though!🎵

Benoît and I are very happy to show you Pool!

We made this film alongside our studies at EMCA. It made a long way!
We started at the beginning and we continued little by little during our summer and our free time until the start of second year.
A big thanks to Renaud Denis who made all the sound. 🙇‍
Pool is also my first film. I learned a lot with it.

Benoît Michelet designed the poster and I painted it. It’s been a while since I did a digital painting and making this has been very refreshing. So refreshing I’m making a second poster for Pool hahaha.

Last summer I did an internship at Moth studio in London. I had more or less a 40min walk to work. Fortunately, most of it was through Victoria Park… I really liked that park so I made these drawings that summer.

Lots of crows and dogs there… isn’t it?

I spent a day with my little cousin playing video games, making spaceships and drawing with color pencils. We changed drawings at the end!
